I am a mother of 2 children who have just left the nest. My eldest son (21) is currently studying architecture and my daughter (19) is currently studying media and costume design. I do not want grandchildren quite yet... but love looking after others. I have a drivers licence and my own car, I have had a first aid certificate which has currently expired but I have registered for an updated course. I also have a blue card for working with children and am willing to get a police check if required. I am looking for part time work and I am available most hours and days. I have previous experience as a nanny, and have cared for children of all ages, taking the children to and from school and day care. However, I particularly enjoy working with babies. I love cooking and am more than happy to help out. I am a fully qualified hairdresser and have run my own business for many years. I look forward to meeting you soon :)

Presently I am a Nanny for two lovely children from Mondays-Wednesdays which I intend to keep doing for the next few years for as long as they need me. I would also like to do more child care in the evenings whether it be 'on call' or permanent. I am married with two children ages 19 and 24 who both are studying and have performing careers. I have been living in New Farm for 7 years. My children are virtually independent now and I have a lot of time to myself. I do crafts and run High Tea parties in our house for which I get bookings for throughout the year. It is not a huge business as I only wish to keep it going as a hobby and to meet people. I really love this. I also convene a music competition for 4MBS Classic FM103.7 competition for young musicians to compete and be selected to compete in a national final with a prize of $10,000.00. I also convened the Brisbane Eisteddfod for 10 years which I built it up from 400 competitors each year to 1,000 competitors each year. I have a blue card for the purpose of convening and communicating with young people. Before I had children I was a legal secretary for 12 years. The reason I would like to apply to be a nanny is because I am longing to be a grandmother but I can't see that happening for another 5-10 years, so I would love to be doting and caring for other children. It was important to me that I was an 'at home mother' whilst my children were growing up because I had lost a baby at six month's pregnancy and felt the loss so strongly that I was possibly overprotective. As it turned out, my son did homeschooling because he needed the time for practice. He is now a concert pianist performing nationally and internationally. My daughter preferred to do normal schooling. I have encouraged both my children in all areas of extra curricular activities to find their interest which they both have done. I would share this caring and encouragement with any children I would be looking after. I feel I would be a good nanny as, apart of the regular duties, I would play games with them, take them for walks down to the park, introduce music, singing and dancing through interaction with musical instruments and dance/song videos. Essentially, I would put my heart into my job.

Dear Parents, As a mother of two boys and a qualified counsellor I would like to express my interest to work with your family as a babysitter/nanny. I am passionate about helping people particularly children and their families. Earlier in my life I had opportunity to experience working with vulnerable children age between 3-18 years suffering cancer and other diseases. I also worked on to support end empower disadvantage children disability through counselling their careerer. I have a strong understanding of behaviour guidance of children learning and behaviour problem. Working with children and youth both in Europe and Australia has made me realize how many families need extra help to support their kids and parents as well to achieve their goals. I am looking forward seeing you and have a chat personally. Warm Regards Judit

Hello, I'm nice person who would like to look after children during the week. I'm ideally looking for a full-time job but I'm really flexible. I've have loads of experience with children as I did a lot of baby-sittings during my studies (from new born to 6-8 years old). I've also worked with children (from Kindie) during my internship for being a speech therapist. When I arrived in Australia I got a chance to be an aupair with a wonderful family of 4, in Brisbane. I love doing all kind of activities such as crafts, boarding games but also outdoor activities. I'm very cheerful and always conscious of the happiness of children. Looking forward to hear from you.

My name is Jemima, and I am a current uni student, with flexible availability. I've had some experience in child care, caring for children from 18 months to 9 years of age on a very casual basis in my hometown of Cairns. Since moving to Brisbane for study, I've been working in hospitality, and tutoring on weekends (so I've been keeping my skills honed for helping with homework!). I'm looking to move back into child care for the more rewarding and engaging experience that working with children offers.

Hi! I am a first year Public Relations student at Griffith University looking for some part time work. Being Greek and Italian I grew up with a big family so I've had a LOT of experience baby sitting my cousins. I am a active drama student and I continuously to volunteer work. I love being a goof ball but I am usually the mature one or the "mum" of the group. Coming from such a big family, family is very important to me and I understand how sometimes life and work can get in the way! This is why I thought baby sitting would be a great experience for me as it will teach me skills that I will need in the future such as responsibility and multi-tasking. Please if you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me on my phone number or email! I hope to hear from you soon!!

Dear Families, hopefully, I could convince you to make me a part of your family. Entrusting me with your greatest treasure would be a grand honor for me. I can assure you that you won´t be disappointed. My name is Janine and I am from Germany. I am currently living in Brisbane with my partner and will stay in Australia for the next few years. I am looking for a full time, live-out position in the new farm area. I am working for a wonderful family atm but would be available again in July 2016. I finished my Bachelor studies in July 2012. I studied education science and psychology at the University of Hamburg. I also have my Diploma in childcare. I was already working as an Au-Pair in Brisbane in 2013 where I took care of three kids, aged two, four and ten. I have got my driving license since 2006 and have lots of experience in driving on the left side and driving an automatic car! :) I have an Australian driver’s license. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. I have great experience in babysitting in different families with babies, small children and teenagers is very interesting and exciting to work with children at different ages because every child has its own needs. So you have to treat every child differently to experience and to know its wishes. I did several internships in nursery, kindergarten, childcare and in preschool where I have learned more about the behavior of children and how to deal with many different situations. I have a lot of fun spending time and playing with children. This is also one of the most important reasons why I decided to study education science and Psychology. After working as an Au-Pair, I was working with children with learning disabilities and social problems as well as in an after school childcare for children from ages 5 – 11, this involved helping them with their school homework and learning activities. I was working in a childcare center in Brisbane from December 2014 to July 2015. Here I was working as a floating Assistant and as an Assistant in the Nursery. I am still working in several childcare center in Brisbane two days a week. In my free time I like to go shopping or spend the day at the beach. I also like reading, traveling, cooking, going to the cinema, meeting friends and, of course, looking after children. I am very friendly, helpful, self-motivated and always polite. In addition, I am reliable, warm-hearted and have a lot of experience with children, I know that they like me and I think that I understand the children’s needs and we can have a lot of fun together. P.S. I am having a blue card and an actual First Aide Certificate from Australia.
